Learn modern backcountry ski or snowboard technique in Colorado’s premiere backcountry skiing destination.  Human powered skiing in the majestic Elk Mountains focusing on the the deep cold smoke powder that Colorado is famous for. Be it mellow below treeline powder skiing, or mid-winter peak-bagging, Mountain Pro will introduce you to the wonders of the Crested Butte backcountry. Intimate knowledge of the local terrain and years of snow stability evaluation working with the Crested Butte Avalanche Center, contribute to a safe and rewarding experience in our backyard. Custom dates December-April.

2010 permit areas include world class backcountry destinations accessed through either Mike’s employment by a permitted guide service and/or individual permits held by Mike Bromberg through the Certified Guides Federation.
