San Juan ski short
I’m not usually one for season cross-contamination, but this video is a quick reminder of how special the Colorado winter can be.

June 26th is “take your dog to work day” and unfortunately for Louis and I, he is neither here in Chamonix nor do I have any trips booked tomorrow… I know he will be working hard at harassing marmots and doing his thing in CO.
From takeyourdog.com “First celebrated in 1999, Take Your Dog To Work Day was created to celebrate the great companions dogs make and to encourage their adoption from humane societies, animal shelters and breed rescue clubs. This annual event encourages employers to experience the value of pets in their workplace for this one special day to promote pet adoptions.”
I think events such as tydtwd are important to raise awareness about the homeless pet crisis in the United States. “Crisis?”- you might ask. With roughly 11,000 pets being euthanized every day in America’s shelters: I’d say crisis is an understatement.
