June 26th is “take your dog to work day” and unfortunately for Louis and I, he is neither here in Chamonix nor do I have any trips booked tomorrow… I know he will be working hard at harassing marmots and doing his thing in CO.

This annual event encourages employers to experience the value of pets in their workplace for this one special day to promote pet adoptions.”

I think events such as tydtwd are important to raise awareness about the homeless pet crisis in the United States. “Crisis?”- you might ask. With roughly 11,000 pets being euthanized every day in America’s shelters: I’d say crisis is an understatement.
