After a very cold, windy, and snowy week in Wyoming’s wind river range, I made it back to Colorado for the beginning of what is sure to be a solid fall rock climbing season. Yesterday cbmg guides John Mackinnon and Kyle mattingly and I made a trip out to the black canyon for a training climb on the exciting Russian Arete (IV 5.9).
